From a secret corner of the world comes a magical, otherworldly whisky: kaiyo the unicorn 10 year old: aged 5 years in japanese mizunara oak casks and then aged 5 years in old bourbon barrels. Our master blender has crafted a whisky of immeasurable complex- ity, thanks to a pioneering technique he calls wet char (see reverse side). This remark- able process amplifies the woods influence far beyond what traditional methods could achieve. The result is a beautifully balanced whisky, with a superbly smooth mouthfeel. This unicorn whisky reveals a unique com- bination of flavors that constantly change and evolve. Its high-tannin backbone trails a long line of toasted nutmeg mixed with the deep honey aroma of charred oak. Caramel, spices, and whisky-soaked dried fruits linger in the background, creating an enchant- ing yet distinctive flavor profile. Kaiyo the unicorn 10 year old is truly one of a kind.
