Our ‘Aux Chaignots’ plot stretches across 1.79 ac of limestone and gravelly soil to the north of the prestigious village of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Planted mid-slope, the vines produce delicate, finely aromatic wines that combine virile masculinity with remarkable finesse. A firm favourite of François Faiveley, it boasts an unctuous texture revealing floral nuances. While close to Vosne-Romanée, it stays true to the spirit of Nuits-Saint-Georges, delivering unique concentration and elegance.
Tasting Notes
It exudes aromas of red fruit combined with a hint of wood and smoke. Extremely soft in the mouth, it offers a smooth, delicate texture. The rounded structure of the tannins imparts a remarkable degree of harmony, balancing finesse and power.
