The Story
A bright and memorable wine, named after the imperial Mt Tapuae-o- Uenuku or Tapi (tap-ee) as the locals call it, is a beacon that rises above the famous Marlborough wine region. TAPI wines are true small batch, organic and sustainable. All hands-on processes, all heart. We’re a family. We are two couples and four mates with a shared belief in making wines that honour the land. We are hands-on in the vineyards and are passionate about sustainable viticulture practice and smallbatch production.
Tasting Notes
A deep ruby coloured in the glass, this wine displays lifted aromatic layers of cherry, plum and bright floral notes with subtle hints of liquorice, oak and spice. The palate has layered flavours of ripe red and dark fruit, spice and integrated French oak underpinned by nuances of dry herbs and savoury characteristics. Mid-weight on the palate, this wine is balanced and mouth-filling with refined silky tannins, balanced acidity that seamlessly lead to a long and elegant finish.
