The Barolo Riva Rocca is produced from 1995 in territory of Verduno particularly suited to the cultivation of vineyards from Barolo. The exposure of our vineyard is to the southwest and the age of the plants exceeds the 30 years.

The yield of grapes in the vineyard is about one kilo per plant; while the total production is 4000 bottles per every hectare. After harvesting, the grapes are crushed and fermented a week with rigorous temperature control. The wine thus obtained is put in French barrique: This is where the fermentation malolactic tion. The rest in oak barrels french has a duration of 24 months. Follow 12 months of stay in large barrel of French oak and 12 months in the bottle.

The Barolo Riva Rocca shows the user a colour intense ruby red; To the nose gives characteristic scents of dried rose, mixed with notes of mint and licorice. The taste of this Barolo is full but same time harmonious for the presence of sweets and elegant tannins dictated by wood and well supported by its structure.

Appearance: ruby red with garnet

Palate: dry, warm, soft, tannic and persistent
