The reason why we began to produce wines within the DO Toro was very simple: we like its wines! Many years ago we had the opportunity to start working with the oldest Tempranillo grapes which offer a more intense concentration of aromas. Buil is a dry red wine elaborated with the variety “Tinta de Toro”. This wine undergoes a long pre-fermentative maceration with skins at low temperatures which are achieved by using dry ice. Later on, the alcoholic fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature of 28 ºC. The wine will then be aged in new French oak barrels where it will also be allowed to complete the malolactic fermentation on lees. This is a highly concentrated dry red wine, with notable fruit aromas and full of nuances of fine wood and spices. In the mouth it is muscular with mature, firm and polished tannins which give this wine a long finish.

It has the colour of intense red bigarreau cherries, clean and bright. In the nose, intense fruit flavours with overtones of spices are dominant. In the mouth, Buil will show muscular, mature and boasting stability with smooth tannins and a long finish.
