Winemaker Ilaria Tachis holds her father’s Giacomo legacy in her vineyard and in her heart. From him she inherited not only a deep and abiding love for the land, but also an independent spirit. Pargolo Chianti Classico is made from young wines at Podere La Villa in Tuscany. This is a classic and savory Chianti Classico made from a blend of mainly Sangiovese and of a small percentage of Merlot. After the first vilification the wine ages for 12 months in French barrels of 3rd and 4th passage.

Tasting Notes

Showing floral notes and red berry flavors like cherry and black currant on the nose. On the palate delivers great balance and extraordinary drinkability.
