Lampo was the nickname of Federico’s Grandfather, was born in 1912. A Maremman Cowboy, as a tribute to him, on the front label there is his picture on the horse.
Lampo, Morellino di Scansano, produced with carefully selected Sangiovese grapes, the vineyards are planted in land exposed to the mistral winds. The wine has a beautiful ruby red color, a complex and refined aroma of red fruits such as raspberries and black cherries. A soft and enveloping taste with refined tannins.
