The grapes used to make Valdelosfrailes Reserva require a triple selection . It is harvested manually in 12 kilo boxes and then cold macerated in the winery before fermentation at a controlled temperature, providing us with great aromatic complexity .
After alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in new barrels. Subsequently, the wine is aged for at least 14 months in new barrels and subsequently remains in the bottle for at least two more years, resulting in a surprising, complex, elegant and balanced wine .
Vineyard
It comes from our glass vineyards in the Cubillas and Corcos de Valle moors such as Sallana Pino, El Aguilón, Las Carretillas or el Jarro. With infertile soils of gravel and sand, shallow and very low productions.
